Low Country Family Services was founded in 2005 by Mrs. Hattie Murdaugh Askew in Varnville, South Carolina. The founder is affectionately known by most as “Mrs. Hattie.” With her strong love for people, she has been committed to serving communities in a caring and compassionate way for over 40 years.
LCFS is a family-owned business and its very beginning originated in the childhood community of “Mrs. Hattie.”
Low Country Family Services gratefully serves South Carolina and North Carolina where both states are dear to the hearts of the family.
Low Country Family Services, Inc. is licensed by South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and the North Carolina Division of Health Services Regulation.
